Who gave the go ahead for the Ohio Seneca County Board of Elections to initiate reprisals & violate the 1st amendment rights of election workers participating in a ballot referendum to remove voting machines? Why is the current, and Secretary of State canidate Robert Sprague silent?
Â
Ohio law sets a few basic qualifications for election workers:
Be a county resident.
A registered voter.
Have no felony convictions.
But in Seneca County, officials added another to its polling location managers.
DON'T OPPOSE VOTING MACHINES!
At it's August 26 meeting, the four member board of elections approved a motion "that any active member publicly or actively working against the use of voting machines [is] ineligible to serve as a polling location manager."
Â
Statement by Marcell Strbich candidate for Ohio Secretary of State in the above video are summarized below.Â
Â
We participate in the election process because it garners a level of transparency and oversite and gives us the assurance that our elections are working for us. Individuals in Seneca and Monroe Counties in Ohio were supporting a referendum on restoring a hand count process because they want to be more involved in their election system.
Â
The problem for them was that the Secretary of State and the County Prosecutor opposed the ballot referendum. They used a legal case to deny them the right to move forward with the referendum.
Â
Here is the rub, the people who participated in Seneca's process are now being punished because the viewpoint is wrong think and it is a thought crime to be able to say that they do not agree that the voting machine is the method that they prefer to use. The reprisal is coming from the Seneca county board of elections which is saying that they should not be allowed to work as Voting Location Managers (VLM) because of their outspoken position on voting machines.
Â
This is egregious, this is exactly what I faced in the military under president Biden when you said something about the COVID shot or if it was against DEI you would get punished. We do not need this authoritarian approach, I do not care what administration this is under. This needs to end.
Â
Those people who are trying to flex their tyrannical muscles in Seneca need to realize that there is going to be a different Secretary of State and I am watching all of this. You need to pull that motion back and you need to respect your poll workers. We are already low on poll workers and we do not need to punish more so we create more of a system of remote voting. This might be what the influence peddlers coming out of the interest lobby for the voting machine venders want.
Â
We are going to get to the bottom of this. We are going to expose this, and all of influence peddlers who are pushing this.

Why electronic voting equipment needs to be replaced by pre-printed hand marked paper ballots
Â
Marcell Strbich In an interview with Brian Thomas on July 22, 2025Â detailed why electronic voting equipment needs to be replaced with pre-printed hand marked paper ballots. Things need to change in Ohio and Marcell Stribch is the man to make those changes. Marcell's interview is summarized below.
Â
Just prior to our November 2024 November elections 66% of Americans were questioning if they trust in the honesty of elections. That is a crisis that we have to ask ourselves fundamentally, what is wrong with our elections. I deeply studied this issue over the last two years and decided to take action regarding this issue.
Â
I did a number of call to actions, I went and worked with the legislature as a citizen advocate which is very unusual as a volunteer, and put forward advanced verified abilities for voters, I looked at the citizenship issue with verification, or lack there of, and I even looked at the cyber security which is a specialty in the background that I had been working at the Pentagon. I said, this is a system that has serious issues.
Â
Whether you are a Republican or a Democrat, you should be asking yourself why we should trust the electronic voting systems given the global hacks with Microsoft and their servers recently. Clearly these systems are broken and we can not continue to keep purchasing and acquiring, spending more money on insecure systems.
Â
I think we need to revamp and re-look at all the variables and I have some concrete solutions. I am very much an issues based candidate and I have an understanding of the systems like no-one else in this race right now.
Â
For the last 20 years we have computerized this entire infrastructure of elections and failed to up-front create independent security assessment review for those very systems. There are no third party verification, the vendor drives the entire process and the secretary of state validates it. That by definition is self auditing and is not valid.
Â
in the last six years in Ohio we went from having an 18 million dollar budget to a 65 million dollar budget for the secretary of states office. That budget has been growing because we have had to add these cyber security cost which now are no longer being funded by the federal government. Now our county commissioners need to pick up that cost.
Â
This whole system is being re-looked at and when you look at the current administration, President Trump is calling for decertifying some of these systems because rightfully so, the technology is from the early 2000s, and in the early 2000s there were not even iPhones.
These systems do not have the ability to meet what we call zero day threats  that are present. To be honest, all these systems, their design, their components, their software developers are from over-seas. So why can we not build a supply chain in the United States if this is truly critical infrastructure? If we are truly going to protect these, and give people assuredness and confidence, which they deserve.
Â
This is why I am advocating to go back to pre-printed hand marked paper ballots. They are un-hackable, they are the most transparent, they cost about a 10th of the cost, and Ohio is already doing it in some counties. I think we need to be a leading state and go back to pre-printed hand marked paper ballots.
What you can do to help!

The more engagement, the more Marcell’s reach will grow. Stress that this is critical for name recognition and campaign momentum
